Sometimes the most rewarding experience a family can have together is to learn about and offer to support to others. I found myself touched and inspired by what I learned about The Feinstein Challenge. The challenge, made by a man named Alan Feinstein, is simple. He challenges all of us, especially in these difficult economic times, to help alleviate hunger. He urges us to recall the importance of community service in education and the values of caring, compassion and brotherhood.
To motivate, the Feinstein Challenge offers to match all donations or funds of food made to participating hunger relief organizations in the months of March and April. Project MANA is one such hunger relief organization.
The efforts your family makes to raise money or collect food in March or April will double, thanks to the Feinstein Challenge.
